Friends of Butler Pond
An organization aimed at preserving and enhancing Butlers’ Pond and the immediate surrounding area.
Friends of Wollaston Beach
A community group that promotes the wise use and preservation of the Beach, encourages volunteerism, alerts others to issues affecting the Beach through educational, cultural, social and civic programs, and advocates on behalf of Beach users.
Marsh Madness
A Houghs Neck community group whose goal is to restore tidal flow to long neglected areas of marsh, while improving flood, fire, and mosquito control.
Quincycles
A group of Quincy residents advocating for bicycle infrastructure on our city streets and promoting responsible bicycling as a means of transportation, recreation, and exercise in Quincy. We are resident led and organized and encourage participation from all types of bicyclists.
Quincy Climate Action Network
QCAN promotes energy conservation and efficiency, and the use of renewable energy by Quincy government, businesses, and residents.

Lowell Lecture Series
Sponsored by the Lowell Institute, this series was established in 1836 with the specific mission of making great ideas accessible to all people, free of charge. Lectures are held at the Boston Public Library and are free to the public.

At a variety of Massachusetts National Historical Sites and Parks, learn about the social, economic, environmental, maritime, and literary history of the northeast.
QCAP Adult Education and Workforce Development
Quincy Community Action Program offers free on-site technical help, tutoring, and computer classes for low-income people who do not have access to a computer and/or the Internet.

Adams National Historic Neighborhood Association

Adams Shore Community Association
A non-profit organization that coordinates various neighborhood events, including an annual Family Oktoberfest, Holiday Tree Lighting, Easter Egg Hunt and Fourth of July Cookout.
Hospital Hill Neighborhood Association
Through HHNA, neighbors collaborate and strategize how to address issues of concern such as land use, traffic control, safety, crime, construction, environmental protection and any other matters.
Houghs Neck Community Council
An all volunteer, nonprofit corporation that has for 54 years offered programs and events to Houghs Neck residents.
Merrymount Association
A not-for-profit organization consisting of neighbors and homeowners who live in the Merrymount section of Quincy.
Penn's Hill Neighborhood Association
Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life in the neighborhood by bringing residents and businesses together, by providing a forum for discussing local and citywide issues, planning social activities and projects that build relationships among neighbors, creating an effective communication link with the City of Quincy, and working to keep our neighbors informed of news and decisions that impact the community.
Post Island Beach Association
Founded in 1896, the Post Island Beach Association welcomes residents of Elcott, Poplar, Post Island and Shoreside.

Ward 5 Community Association

Wollaston Hill Neighborhood Association is a group of neighbors who share in the interest to promote and improve their neighborhood in the areas of Wollaston Hill and Forbes Hill.

Quincy Choral Society
A "professional amateur" community chorus that rehearses on Monday evenings and performs regularly in the Quincy area.
Quincy Symphony Orchestra
A a non-profit organization consisting of amateur and professional musicians, the QSO performs three classical, two holiday, and one pops concert each season in the Boston area.

Council on Aging Clubs
The Council on Aging sponsors a Bridge Club (Fridays from noon to 3 p.m.), a Scrabble Club (Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), a Poker club (Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and a Whist Club (Thursdays at 1 p.m.) at the Kennedy Center, 440 East Squantum St. For more information, call 617-376-1245.

Quincy Elder Services Department
The Quincy Elder Services Department offers basic and more advanced computer classes on a regular basis at the Kennedy Center, open to all Kennedy Center members. Membership is free to all Quincy residents aged 60+. Check their online calendar for computer class details.
